Spot checks at all of the crossroads near Westport Station on May 19 and July 6, 1998 suggest that this portion of the trail is open for public use.

Covered Bridge The Coombs Bridge #2 is a short distance southwest of the site of Westport Depot, then west a short distance away on the old Westport Road.

Except for trail exits at road crossings, no other facilities were observed in the vicinity of the trail!
