Trail culvert at Hooksett Road. Digital picture by Kenyon F. Karl on August 5, 1998.

The trail uses a trail culvert to pass under Hooksett Road. This culvert has a clearance of about 7 feet at its center. Side trails on both sides of the culvert run north to Hooksett Road, allowing trail users to bypass the culvert or leave the trail at this point. Note however that no obvious parking places were noted in the area!

Parking Ample Parking is available on the site of the Auburn Depot, as well as at the nearby mill site at the edge of the pond. Since the pond is a public water supply, swimming, wading, and fires are not allowed.

Bicycle Trail Friends of Massabesic Bicycling Association maintain several mountain bike trails that begin at or near the site of Auburn Station.

Hiking Trail Bicycle Trail Horse Trail Tent campingRV camping Bear Brook State Park might be reachable from various road crossings between Auburn and Candia via lightly traveled town roads. Note that the Webmaster has not checked the park, campground or access routes to any degree.
