A short section of the rail-trail is open on an informal basis beginning at the site of the Gonic Depot. The Webmaster did not walk this end of the rail-trail, but presumes that it ends at the property line for  the Spaulding Turnpike.

Note that the presence of the Spaulding Turnpike blocks any inexpensive connection of the Rochester and Gonic sections.

Parking Limited parking is apparently available on an informal basis on the site of the Gonic Depot.

No other trail facilities were observed in the vicinity of Gonic Depot.
