Simple trail access is available at the following road crossings:
The Advance Transit Blue Route Bus to Canaan stops on signal anywhere along Route 4, so that it is easily accessible from the following trail access points. Note that all Advance Transit busses have bike racks!
US Route 4 is a Statewide Bicycle Route that roughly parallels the Rail-trail between Danbury and Lebanon. Each of the following trail access points thus forms a short connecting link to the Bike Route.
The Lockehaven General Store is adjacent to the site of the Pattee Station at South Street and offers toilets, water, picnic tables, limited food service, and limited groceries during business hours:
The tiny Wayside Chapel is adjacent to the Blackwater Road crossing about 0.2 west of Pattee Station.
