USGS Topographic map of Sugar Hill
Former Sugar Hill Station. Digital photograph by Kenyon F. Karl on October 8, 1997.
Note that the Sugar Hill Station is located within Lisbon town limits about 5 miles from the Sugar Hill settlement via Route 117. The 1923 station listing suggests that this station was only used during the summer months!
The former Sugar Hill Station in Lisbon was last used as a restaurant. The station building, its parking lot, and the surrounding land are presumably still in private ownership, thus trail users must expect to find 'no trespassing signs' that block any hope of entering or leaving the trail at the former station building.
Public access to the trail is available at the River Road Crossing, just south of the Route 302 highway overpass. This crossing is a short distance via River Road from Route 117 just south of its Route 302 end.
No other public facilities are available to trail users in the vicinity of this station!
