The location of the rural train stop Woodmere is to be assumed to be at Davis Crossing Road, since it is closest to the location of the settlement of Woodmere as indicated by other maps. The old railroad bed apparently serves as the entrance to the Contoocook Marsh Conservation Area.

A public swimming area was noted just east of the County Road Crossing.
Except for trail access at crossroads, no other facilities were observed in the vicinity of the trail.
